This 2019 black Ford Mustang S550 not only looks good, but it will also tear it up on the drag strip
When you are looking for that perfect drag wheel setup, you can always count on the WELD RT-S and V-Series wheels. Made 100% in the United States, these high-quality forged wheels address all the particular requirements for a high-performance drag strip build. And for this particular Ford Mustang S550, churning out well over 800 horsepower, a strong & lightweight wheel setup was one of the top priorities.
The owner of this black Mustang S550 went with a set of WELD V-Series Frontrunner wheels for the front and a set of WELD S70 Beadlock wheels for the rear. Together, these make for a great one-two punch that allows the vehicle to utilize a wide and sticky Micky Thompson drag radial in the rear and a narrow, sleek & stylish wheel and tire setup in the front. Furthermore, thanks to their three-piece forged construction, customers can order WELD RT-S Series wheels in diameters ranging from 15 to 20 inches and a wide range of widths, ranging from 3.5 to 18.33 in some cases. In turn, we’re able to provide the best possible fitment for almost any specific application and build.
Even though drag racing is all about speed, looking good at the lights is a big factor for many owners. Consequently, with this setup, this blacked-out beast will grab eyes both for its visual appeal and its drag racing times as well.
